Chocolate sold online in Canada recalled over concerns of salmonella contamination

Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled, the CFIA warned.


A milk chocolate treat sold online in Canada is being pulled from the shelves over fears it could be contaminated with salmonella. 

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says the recall affects Dubai Pistachio & Knafeh Milk Chocolate (145 g) with Universal Product Code 6 11834 51237 1 and code 225.174. The product was sold online and in Quebec by Distribution Bonbons JJ Candy.
