A lucky Mississauga woman who won part of a $60-million lottery jackpot earlier this year has become even richer thanks to a recent instant lottery ticket she purchased at a Halton Hills Petro-Canada station.
Most recently, Trang Pham won $250,000 playing Instant Golden Multiplier, as announced by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) in a July 10 news release.
In January, Pham was one of five co-workers who split a $60-million Lotto Max prize.

Pham, a retiree, has been playing OLG lottery games since she was old enough to purchase tickets. Over the years, she has played many games, including Lotto Max, Lotto 6-49, Daily Grand and a range of instant tickets. The mother of two is no stranger to winning big.
For her most recent win, Pham was shopping at an outlet mall when she felt thirsty. She decided to stop at a nearby gas station for a bottle of water.
鈥淲hile I was there, I ended up buying a couple of tickets,鈥 she recalled.
The next morning, Pham played her Golden Multiplier ticket while sitting in her car.
鈥淚 uncovered the top prize and realized it was a winning ticket,鈥 she said. 鈥淭hen I scanned it using the OLG app on my phone 鈥 and there it was: $250,000. I was so happy and excited.鈥
Moments later, Pham called her husband to share the news. 鈥淗is response was, 鈥楻eally?鈥 He was surprised and overjoyed.鈥
Pham also told a few friends about her win. 鈥淭hey were also shocked but thrilled for me at the same time,鈥 she recalled.

When asked how it feels to win the lottery twice in the same year, Pham said, 鈥淚t鈥檚 unbelievable. It feels like I was struck by lightning twice in one year. You have to give yourself a smack just to make sure it鈥檚 real.鈥
Pham plans to use the money to pay bills and travel.
Her latest winning ticket was purchased at Petro-Canada on Steeles Avenue West in Hornby.
