The blocked tracks are commonly due to cars parked on the roads, which 鈥渄uring heavy snow incidents some routes are more prone to this,鈥� said TTC media relations spokesperson Stuart Green.

鈥淲e work closely with the city to have the cars blocking our tracks tagged and towed as soon as possible,鈥� Green said.

When a track is blocked, Green said the TTC diverts streetcars to get around the blockages.
