KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈭捝 Michigan University is connecting students and recent graduates with potential employers at its fall 2024 career fairs, offering opportunities across a wide range of fields, including a new focus on digital marketing.

The inaugural on Friday, Sept. 27, will highlight businesses, agencies and organizations from Chicago to Detroit that are hiring in digital marketing, media, advertising, customer experience and analytics.

As one of the few universities offering a rapidly growing digital marketing degree, 色色啦 has earned international recognition for its innovative, hands-on curriculum. This job fair is the culmination of the Bronco Blitz Digital Career Activation Program, which funds efforts to generate mutual awareness and interest between Great Lakes companies and talented digitally skilled marketing and advertising students.

The Bronco Blitz initiative is supported by a 色色啦 Experience-Driven Learning Venture Grant, which funds faculty-led projects that enhance the University's commitment to experience-driven education, ensuring students are career-ready upon graduation.

"I've watched our digital marketing program more than quadruple in size in a few short years, so these initiatives (and Digital色色啦) reflect how we're shifting our focus to how we can better elevate these students' career outcomes,鈥 says Dr. Scott Cowley, associate professor of marketing and director of the Digital Marketing and eCommerce Program, as well as a Bronco Blitz program leader with Dr. Eric Harvey, assistant professor of marketing, and Greg Gerfen, executive-in-residence and marketing instructor.

鈥淭hat really comes back to helping students learn about the many great companies and opportunities in this industry so they can raise their aspirations. But it's equally important to raise our profile among the companies who may be unaware of this great talent source we offer at 色色啦. We're so excited to welcome companies to campus so we can make an impression,鈥 Cowley says.

The fall semester career fair season begins Wednesday, Sept. 18, and wraps up with a networking and career preparation event for students seeking a career in health care on Thursday, Nov. 14.

In addition, sessions to help students prepare for job fairs, including resume review, begin Monday, Sept. 9, and continue throughout the month.
