The Raptors have locked up their point guard for the future.
According to a report by ESPN鈥檚 Adrian Wojnarowski, the Raptors will sign Immanuel Quickley to a five-year contact worth about $175 million (U.S.).
From the day 色色啦 obtained the 25-year-old Quickley and RJ Barrett from the New York Knicks for OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa last December, it was expected the six-foot-three guard would be retained as the team鈥檚 long-term on-court quarterback.
When Quickley averaged 18.6 points, 6.8 assists and 4.8 rebounds in 38 starts with the Raptors, he proved himself more than capable of handling the responsibility.

The Maryland native now joins Scottie Barnes, 22, and the 24-year-old Barrett as the nucleus of a young roster building for the future.
But with Quickley on the books at about $35 million a season, Barnes about to sign an extension that will begin at more than $50 million in 2025-26, and Barrett still with three years and nearly $80 million left on his contract, it鈥檚 looking like the Raptors will be serious contenders to keep free agent Gary Trent Jr. when his contract expires Monday.
As well, the Raptors have reportedly decided to pick up Bruce Brown’s one-year, $23-million option, according to Wojnarowski, which could make him a valuable trade asset on an expiring contract.
鈥淲e鈥檒l get to work on that,鈥 Raptors general manager Bobby Webster said Thursday. 鈥淎bsolutely thought about it, because, you know, the amount of money we have, flexibility, all that.
鈥淏ut that’s the big task at hand for those two guys.鈥
