The Leger poll, which sampled more than 39,800 Canadian adults from March 31 to April 13, found the country’s happiness is relatively high but “stagnant or even slightly down”Ìýcompared toÌýthe period before the COVID-19 pandemic.
The report noted “significant disparities” across age groups, regions and living conditions, including “renewed momentum” for young adult happiness, plus boosts for Quebecers and seniors. Women were also found to be the slightly happier sex at 69.4 to the men’s index of 68.
