City hits paws on fees to adopt a dog in ‘Made in Canada’ drive for fur-ever homes

Fees can normally cost up $215 but will be waived until July 20 in an effort to adopt four-legged friends into good homes.

Two-year-old Chico has been in a city shelter and waiting to be adopted for more than 100 days, animal services representative Elana Trainoff said.


Giving a fur-ever home to a Canadian pup is now a little easier on the wallet in ɫɫÀ².

The city has launched a ”” adoption event, where suitable candidates can bring home a four-legged friend without paying an adoption fee.
