Four people were sent to hospital after an eight-vehicle crash during rush hour in North York on Friday.
ɫɫÀ² police say they responded to the area just after 6 p.m. for reports of the collision.
The cause of the crash is not yet known. Investigators say they are searching for one driver who hopped out of his vehicle and ran away from the scene after the crash.Â

A man and woman, both in their 50s, were sent to hospital along with a man and woman who are both in their 30s, officers said, adding that they suffered minor injuries.Â
Eastbound lanes on Denison Road West at Weston Road and southbound Jane Street lanes at Harding Avenue were shut down for about two-and-a-half hours while police worked to clear the scene.
Several TTC routes were also disrupted by the collision.Â
