A man has been arrested after an “unprovoked” stabbing in the Kensington Market area early Sunday morning that left aÌýman in critical condition.Ìý
Police received reports of the stabbing near Ìýat approximately 5 a.m., ɫɫÀ² police said.Ìý
The man in his 30sÌýwas foundÌýwith multiple,Ìýserious stab wounds and taken to a localÌýhospital, officers said. Officials previously said the man was in his 40s.ÌýHe was still in critical condition on Sunday afternoon,Ìýacting Insp. Todd Jocko said in a media conference.

The suspect, a man in his 30s, allegedly fled the scene and was arrested several hours later, Jocko said.Ìý
The stabbing was “unprovoked but targeted” Jocko added.Ìý
The investigation is still in the early stages and officers said there is not a lot of information to share yet, but residents can expect anÌýincreased police presence in the area.Ìý
