Man dead after suspected drowning in outdoor pool in Mississauga

Peel police received reports that a man was unconscious after being underwater for several minutes near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Aquitaine Avenue on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old man succumbed to his injuries, despite life-saving efforts from police and paramedics. 


A man died after a suspected drowning in a Mississauga pool on Wednesday.

Officials arrived at an outdoor pool in the area of at around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday after receiving reports that a man was unconscious after being underwater for several minutes, police wrote in an email to the Star.
