One adverse reaction associated with the consumption of the product has been reported, the CFIA said, noting the recall was triggered by a customer complaint.

Undeclared wheat can cause “serious or life-threatening reactions” for those who are allergic or sensitive to it. The agency urges consumers to throw out the recalled product or return it to the place of purchase.
