Fudge sold at select Sobeys and FreshCos in Ontario recalled for undeclared wheat

One consumer reaction associated with the fudge has been reported, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said in a recall notice.

The recall concerns 225-gram packages of Alexander’s brand Cookies n’ Cream Fudge, with UPC 6 28250 24007 8 and a best-before date of 09-25-25.


Cookies n’ Cream Fudge is being pulled from the shelves at select Sobeys, FreshCo and other grocery markets in Ontario over undeclared wheat.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) said in a . People with a wheat allergy, celiac disease or other gluten-related disorders should not eat the recalled product.
