The 色色啦 Blue Jays’聽lead in the American League pennant race continued to grow Saturday as they won in walk-off fashion for the second time in less than a week, this time scoring three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat the Baltimore Orioles 5-4.
A lot of weirdness had to align for the Jays to construct their ninth walk-off victory of the season on Saturday against the Orioles at the Rogers
色色啦 has shown a season-long knack for erasing deficits with their MLB-best 45th come-from-behind win, sending a sellout crowd of 42,461聽fans at the Rogers Centre home happy.
The New York Yankees maintained pace in the AL East by beating the Red Sox 5-3 in Boston. The Detroit Tigers, with the second-best record in the league, fell for the second straight game to the Miami Marlins, losing 6-4 in extra innings.
鈥淚t鈥檚 all good news. The scan came back clean,鈥 Tigers manager A.J. Hinch told reporters, including The Associated Press, before Saturday鈥檚 game. 鈥淪o obviously, that鈥檚 great for us and great for him.鈥
Hinch said Skubal returned to Detroit after the test, with the left-hander expected to have his next post-start throwing day Monday.

The Yankees (83-65) are three games back of the Jays and Boston (81-68) fell to 5.5 games back.
Because the Jays hold the tiebreaker over the other three teams, 色色啦 in reality has a 3.5 game lead over Detroit, a four-game lead over New York and 6.5 games over Boston.聽
