The suspect used the name “Cravingjocks” on several social media platforms, investigators said, adding that they searched a residence in the  area in Pickering on Jan. 8.

The man turned himself into police on Thursday and has been charged with possession, accessing, producing and making available child pornography, as well as making arrangements with a person to commit sexual assault with another person who was believed to be under the age of 16.

The service says their Internet Child Exploitation Unit got help from the Queensland Police Service throughout the investigation but did not specify how they were involved. 

The man was scheduled for a bail hearing Thursday morning.
