Man dead after Scarborough plaza shooting overnight
Police responded to the sound of gunshots at a plaza near Victoria Park Avenue and Meadowacres Drive, where they found a man who was later pronounced dead.

A man was killed in a shooting in a plaza in ɫɫÀ²’s east end overnight.
Police responded to the sound of gunshots at a plaza near shortly after 11:50 p.m. on Saturday.Â
Officers found a man in his 40s who had been shot. Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are unsure how many suspects were involved, but said they fled the scene. Officers also have not found a weapon.

Police had shut down Victoria Park Avenue between Farmcrest Drive and Consumers Road, and Farmcrest Drive between Meadowacres Drive and Victoria Park Avenue for the investigation.Â
There was a large police presence in the plaza Sunday morning as officers canvassed the area for witnesses and video footage .
