A new ranking has named SickKids the best pediatric hospital in the world, beating out 250 others around the globe.聽
of specialty hospitals. The 色色啦 Hospital for Sick Children has placed in the top two spots for pediatric care for five years in a row.
Thousands of medical experts took part in the global study used to compile the list. The study was conducted online between May and July. Newsweek says they took recommendations from doctors, data, certifications and patient reports.聽

SickKids placed second last year after previously taking the top spot in 2022. Newsweek said they earned top spot this year due to standout treatments in the fields of neonatology, which treats seriously ill newborns, and oncology, which works at cancer prevention.聽

The report also ranks specialty hospitals in the fields of cardiac surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology, orthopedics, pulmonology, and urology.聽
The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre placed ninth on the magazine’s oncology ranking and 色色啦 General Hospital was listed twice, ranking 15th for heart surgery and 24th for cardiology.
