Sinkhole causes ongoing TTC streetcar detours in downtown ɫɫÀ²

On Friday, Yonge Street was reduced to one southbound lane as repairs were assessed.

The 504C and 504D streetcars have been detouring since Thursday afternoon, a TTC spokesperson said, heading east via King Street West, Bay Street and Front Street West.


A sinkhole in the Financial District has spurred streetcar diversions as the city works to repair it, officials said Friday. Streetcars were still being diverted as of Sunday night.

The “small” sinkhole formed at the intersection of , a city spokesperson said, adding the area around the sinkhole had been secured.
