A firefighter collapsed Saturday evening while battling a two-alarm blaze in the Grange Park neighbourhood.Â
ɫɫÀ² Fire Services responded to a fire at a home on Henry Street, near , just before 6:45 p.m.
When crews arrived, they found heavy fire and smoke coming from the home’s third floor, toward the back of the property.Â

One firefighter collapsed while working to extinguish the blaze, likely because of heat exhaustion, district chief Dan Vieira told the Star. The firefighter was treated by EMS at the scene and no other injuries were reported, he added.
The fire has been put out but firefighters are still on scene conducting a fire watch.
