Two men are charged with extortion after a security camera captured shots being fired at a Brampton residence last month, Peel police say.
Two homes were struck by gunfire in the daylight shooting on in July, investigators said in a on Saturday. The suspects fled the scene in a black Chrysler 300 sedan, and no injuries were reported, police said.
Peel Regional Police’s 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) has arrested two individuals in relation to a shooting investigation.
Winnipeg police found the wanted vehicle in Manitoba’s capital on July 13, and were able to identify one of the suspects, officers said.

Police travelled to Winnipeg and arrested a 23-year-old man of no fixed address, charging him with extortion and two counts of discharging a firearm with intent. He was returned to Ontario on Tuesday and held for a bail hearing, investigators said.
Police found and arrested the second suspect after a traffic stop in Mississauga on July 27, police said. A 20-year-old Mississauga man was charged with extortion and discharging a firearm with intent and held for a bail hearing.
