Residents were alarmed to see emergency vehicles arrive in the neighbourhood

Residents and employees in the area west of Yonge Street didn’t hear the crash and were surprised to see the sudden influx of police cars and other emergency vehicles arrive at the daycare, blocking some from turning onto their normally quiet streets.

Residents and employees in the area west of Yonge Street didn’t hear the crash and were surprised to see the sudden influx of police cars and other emergency vehicles arrive at the daycare, blocking some from turning onto their normally quiet streets.

“We were quite shocked to see all the police cars,” said one woman who answered her home phone after 5 p.m. but did not provide her name.
