Teoscar Hernàndez gave the Blue Jays new life in the AL wild-card series with one swing. And then another one. In the end, it still wasn’t enough.

The Jays outfielder first connected on a two-run homer in the second inning to give ɫɫÀ² its first lead and runs scored in the series. The shot to deep left field gave the Rogers Centre crowd —who didn’t have much to cheer about in Game 1 — a reason to get on their feet and twirl their rally towels.
